It's ART in the form of tattooing or piercing using the
dermis layer of the skin, which is the layer that is
considered our real or true skin. The epidermis is the
protective outer layer that sheds and regenerates. In
tattooing we nudge pigment or ink into the lower dermis
layer, therefore making it permanent.
This form of art has been done since the beginning of
recorded history in different tribes, religions, and
occults. In early Egypt it was used as a form of royalty.
Today we use it for more than just art. We use it
cosmetically to enhance our professional appearance, or to
conceal scars or disorders of our natural appearance to
help make us look closer to what we consider normal or
attractive. We also use this as an expression, devotion or
dedication to loved ones and many other various reasons.

We do not cheap out on our clients or students, so we are
the average cost. Derma Art is permanent on your
body, so nobody should cheap out just to save a couple
dollars. Places that give cheap tattoo or piercing
services are cutting costs somewhere.... Lets hope it's
not in the sanitation area. After all, Needles may be
re-used, which cuts cost, but do you want to take a
chance? We use all NEW needles, every time.
Our Derma Art Classes:
We are very thorough. We will teach you The laws,
sanitation, bacteriology, sterilization, when to turn down
a clients, paperwork that is mandatory, paperwork that is
not.... This is just a hint of our Derma Art Classes.

consultation if you're seriously interested in this type of
career.
TATTOOING: IF YOU CANNOT DRAW WORTH A DARN, this
class is NOT for you. One MUST have smooth artistic
ability to become a good artist in the tattoo field.
However, there are methods to use, so that you don't have
to be flawless in drawing. In other words a stencil or
blue print takes the guesswork out as well as giving less chances
of a mistake. The client will see their tattoo and it's
position before it's made permanent. You will learn many
techniques that help create fantastic artwork using
stencil, pre-drawn artwork, pc generated artwork (separate
class), or drawing your own on paper, before turning them
into a blue print.
PIERCING: One must not be squeamish of needles or
blood. However, one doesn't have to know how to draw for
this class. We teach you all the different names and
locations of body piercing. But we do NOT teach any
x-rated techniques. We basically teach above the belt
piercing and all the steps from start to finish.
PERMANENT COSMETICS: If your a cosmetology student,
or have a cosmetology license, good steady hands and/or are
good with make up, this would be a great expansion to your
already existing career. However: You do not need to
have a cosmetology license, just a good steady hand and
ability to apply cosmetics properly. We do teach
what to do, and what NOT to do, it's a method that is easy
to follow with great results.
*With all our Derma Art classes, you will be able to
pass your local health department inspection as long as
you follow all their laws and regulations properly as we
teach them. We will provide you with the Ohio State
Laws and make sure you understand them every step of the
way. By the time you are certified, you will be
confident in your new chosen career.
